Telehandler Training
Telehandler training for warehouses focuses on equipping operators with the skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently handle telehandlers in a warehouse environment.
Training courses include:
- Safety Regulations & Guidelines, understanding the potential hazards in a warehouse, such as narrow aisles, overhead obstructions, and pedestrian traffic.
- Understanding Telehandler Controls & Functions
- The use steering, braking, and lifting functions.
- Understanding how to extend, retract, and tilt the boom safely
- Calculate load capacities, lift limits, and stability
- How to secure and position loads properly using forks, buckets, or other attachments.
- Pre-Operational checks
Training includes methods for stacking and unstacking loads in high-reach areas and ensuring stable load placement.
Operators are trained on the different attachments (forks, buckets, etc)used with telehandlers and how to switch between them based on warehouse needs.
Training also includes what to do in case of mechanical failure, tip-overs, or other emergencies.
